Default DLE 20 for Eindecker 90 ?

Mounted a DLE 20 in my Aeroworks Extra 300, but have not even fired it up yet. Already thinking about my upcoming winter build, which I think will be a Balsa USA Eindecker 90.
Also thinking about a DLE 20 in the Eindecker. Any opinions or other recommendations ? My other engine choice for this build would be a Saito 91.

Go with the DLE 20.

Once you go gas, you"ll never go back.

It will be over powered.

The DLE 20 has the power of a Saito 150.

I've seen a lot of BUSA Eindeckers and they all had 90 size four strokes with power being no problem.

I have a bigger Eindecker kit from SR batteries with a G26. Perfect match, great kit and super flier

The latest beam mounted 15cc offering from RCGF might be a good power choice for your model.

Balance is the deal to me. If I had to add weight to the .91s nose to balance, then the DLE20 would be going in. I can always manage the throttle.

But I like lots of power ! You can always manage it with throttle control ................

Thanks for the advice guys. Got plenty of time to decided on which engine. Who knows, another manufacturer may come out with another fantastic motor, before I am ready to purchase.

I just viewed the SR Eindecker. Looks like a very nice build, but a little large for my hangar.

I built one. (SR Batteries Eindekker) It goes together very nicely and looks great. The landing gear is a bit complicated and takes some time to solder all up, but it is really no big deal if you just do it a step at a time. It is a very nice kit. I used a Honda GX31 four stroke on mine. It was a little underpowered for my taste, but it would loop from level flight. Neat airplane.

Hello!

I'm waiting on my Balsa USA Eindecker kit and have a DLE 20 waiting on it.
Hope Balsa USA is quick with the kit.

Anybody find any hints going forward, I'd sure appreciate the updates...

Take care
