For those who have not attended SS before, you're going to love this flying site. A private jet airport with everything designed to be jet-friendly. Wide smooth runway, generous grass overuns in all directions, bushes to protect pilots and jets, no runway lights and no flight restrictions. Best of all, a bunch of friendly guys hosting and attending. Don't miss it!

Question: Will Jet-A be available at the field this year? Heard there may have been a change this year. Just need to know so I can plan ahead.

We have lost our regular Jet-A supplier and we're working on an alternate source. We'll make an announcement either way it turns out so guys can plan accordingly.

Check our interactive google map here for info on hotels restaurants etc. Rusty is correct that the Best Western is almost sold out. The other hotels in Peachtree City are not much further and restaurants are closer to them.

I had some side work to do on a Piper Seneca this week that was going to pay for my gas to Superjets south... Well it never showed up and I just got word it had a hard landing in Texas and pushed the nose gear up into the windsheilds..
So no Superjets for me this year Was really looking forward to it. I will still try and see if I can find someone on the west coast of Florida that will car pull but it does not look good right now.

Just returned from the Fly for Tots event where George and Todd rolled out the mobile store. I think everyone will be impressed with their operation. They had everything I was shopping for from turbine oil to some esoteric festo fittings. It will be nice going to events, knowing Dreamworks will have your back if you need something to keep your plane operating.
They will be at SJS and won't be hard to find with that mile long trailer.

Can I bring my own accommodations?
