I know, Nicki gave me strict instructions to confiscate his credit card.
Not sure what i want . . . . cannot go there without buying something though!

I thought that last year till I saw the prices. No real bargains to be had last year. But you never know might be this year

Dennis,

You would not be happy if BVM were giving away kits for free! with a turbine of your choice chucked in for good measure and shipped to your door by the Sugababes and Girls Aloud . . . . naked! quit complaining about prices! nobody is forcing you to do this hobby! play another tune!

So if credit card payments tend not used us it generally cash transactions. Or are Paypal payment requests generally used?

Try to change our work card terminal for one using a sim card but it turns out payments cannot be taken in Germany with that terminal.

A real pain. Any ideas?

Cash is always good. Would be easier with a card terminal but can't find one which will work. Seems strange to me especially from HSBC, our Office based terminal provider, who sell themselves as the world bank.

I found last year that the German suppliers tend to only want sell within Germany![&o]
Few will respond if you try to contact them via their websites![]
But it's good to see some of their ideas and reproduce them if they don't want to sell!

Cash is king, I have explained to Ian that even selling 3k kits cash still works. On the Friday we can take cards by calling back to the office, but I think we have done it once or twice in 9 years!

People who are surprised at their need to buy nip into town and draw cash from the banks
We also take stuff to Germany to sell to the British (don't we Geoff :-)

Well the weather forecast is out and it's forecasting rain on that weekend. 75% probability on the Friday, 65% on Saturday and Sunday.

In case you are wondering what Dave is on about.
My Airworld Hunter was very well travelled before it arrived in my house It was manufactured in Europe, delivered to Airworld in Germany, then sent onto Kings Langley in the UK. Dave the took it to JP in 2009, where I purchased it in a mad moment. Not having anyway of getting it back home, Dave agreed to take it back to Kings Langley. He then hand delivered it to my door!

Geoff.

Oh and dont get your hopes up this year Dave...No big purchase from me...Gonna spend Jamie's money instead

Was there wifi available at the field I cant remember from last year? if so you could have your website setup on a laptop and they could pay you just as if they were ordering it from home, just make sure you have the actual items you are going to sell at JP on the site!

Or they can log into paypal and just send money, either way you can verify payment there and then.
