Hi all! It was a total BLAST!! [8D]

We just got home and we all brought back some trophies!!

I placed 1st in Open Mono which was a large class, I think 9 drivers. I placed 2nd in 20 Hydro and that had 4 drivers. I was only 25 points behind the first place winner, Terry Munn. I placed 3rd in 20 Tunnel. Randall placed first and Jeff Moore placed second. 20 tunnel had 6 drivers.

It's too late, I can't remember what the others did, but Neil, Bob, Rick, Dick, and Chris all came home with trophies!!

Great fun and the pond is AMAZING!!

You guys did a fantastic job with this event! I will be back next year for sure!

I was wondering why I never got a shower though.... Probably for the better as I was late getting packed up as usual.

The fireworks were over the top!

Hey Rick, here is the info on the riggers:

45Eagle-SGX; complete with hardware and servos; third channel remote needle for mixture; C/F cowl; new CMB 45HR race prepped by Steve Woods-Walt Barney S/S tank; 2 tanks through motor; AB billet pipe; 1655 props included; price is $600 complete.....less recv. and batt. pk.

67 Eagle-SGX; complete with hardware and servos; third channel remote needle for mixture; new CMB 67 Greenhead engine; AB parabolic pipe; Walt Barney S/S tank andH32 prop included; price is $800 complete.....less recv. and batt. pk.

Incidentally, both boats come complete with "Andy Brown" driveline and hardware. These boats are very fast and handle well in competition.

Prefer not to separate engines and hulls as you are getting the absolute best price as a package. Do not recommend the OPS 45 as you will ultimately loose the rod in a rigger.

Let me know, Walt

Well, I trophied at the D1 race, but there could be health issues dumping Brick Pond water on people.

The shower will be mandatory@ Stony. I hope. Even Dick took the shower. Ric was missed, Luc.
Joe my gas JAE QD combo was ready, until I blew the engine during open waters. The .21 JAE came in 3rd in Open Rigger & 21 Hydro. I hung onto lane 1 I wasn't the fastest. Some one put the QD piston head in backwards. [:@] the new one hit the headbutton ,no gaskets. Craig's .21 JAE was moving with the prop change. . He always says I'm faster. Not this time. I'll gladly take 3rd. He ran a smart race. I was using a Carbon fiber pipe. The pipe rattled loose due to a weak pipe mount. I finished with a AB pipe using my old mount. I did kiss buoy #2 and the ball flew like a field goal. My sponson was not broken. A driver friendly course. the buoy's weren't fatal when hit. I may have hit the ball with my tub. LOL
Bob was rock solid, he placed a really large field. good driving The Vector Vee ran with the best of -em
Thanks to all Dick, Rick, Craig and Bob. and OVR Who put out a first class race event.

Congrats to all of the Stony Pond Team on your winnings in Ottawa - sorry we couldn't make it, hope to make it next year.  Did you get a chance to take any vids or pics?  Would love to see them.

We won't be able to make it to Elmira due to other commitments for Saturday - good luck to all.  Do you guys want to use our grill for lunch Saturday?  I can drop it off at Craig's work Thursday or Friday if you want it.

Craig, will it be ok if we use the pond Sunday am?

Thanks, T&C

My little grill is in the motorhome, which is at Wilkins being serviced. [X(] The hydraulic lines on the slides are leaking.... [:@] But they are covered as a defect....

Sunday morning is fine. Sorry you can't make Elmira.

As far as grilling, it's up to you guys. I can endure ONE boiled hot dog. I don't think I'll have time to grill anything, unless someone else thinks they can make time. If we need it, Tom should drop it off on Thursday, so I can put it in Bob's trailer Thrursday evening. I'll have no room for it in my little car.

Sorry Tom, no video or pictures. I had to leave the camera home for the wife to use.....
