The 9e is discontinued although the hyper star shares a few parts. Hyper 9 specific parts should be around for a while. The hyper is the much better car of the two, but it's also nearly double the price, so no surprise.

I have a nitro 9 GL, and hands down this is a awesome buggy, better design than the 8ight and many other top dog cars in my opinion, this thing will jump like you wont believe.

I have the LX2e and i love it, I've had no problems with it yet. But out of the 2 the 9e will be better. More price more durable, more tuning options on it. Just all around better quality cause it's twice the price
