Default Help with traxxas boat

Hi, I have a villan ex i was wondering if you can run 7 cell batteries on it? It has the original evx esc which says 14.4 v but I heard of people using 7 cells

I'm not really sure what you are asking....
If the ESC says 14.4 volts it means you can run up to 12 NIMH cells.
So yes, you can run 7 cells...however it will be half the speed, and probably won't even get on plane.

How would you change the heat sink to water cooled I thought you cant take it off because I have an extra set of motors and 16.8 evx2 esc?

4cell lipo might be best? That takes you to 14.8v nominal.
