next heli ???
I have a 450 sport and a 130x would like to purchase a larger heli and would like some input on the bigger birds,, 500, 550 600 pro.
I have basic sport flying skills, flips, rolls etc. no heavy 3d stuff yet.
notice that the 550 and the 600 battery prices are about the same, when you consider, 5000mah, pack (550) vs 2 3000 mah packs for 600 pro.

RE: next heli ???
Bigger flies better but costs more money for repairs. I would suggest the 600 just because it has a little more presents in the air, easier to see, should fly a little better. I'm only guessing there but I would think the difference in price between the 2 for parts shouldn't be that much more.

RE: next heli ???
I went to the 500 series helicopters after learning to somewhat fly my 450. I have a Gaui 425 plastic kit and an HK500GT, and both fly so much better than the 450s basically because they are easier to see.
I kinda wished I had just saved my money for a larger helicopter, but then the parts are more expensive.
A buddy of mine has the Trex 600N, and it is a joy to fly, but it is massive.
Bigger does fly better, is easier to see, and is just more impressive than the 450 class helis.
