Uses for old speed 400 motor?
Hi all, I'm new to the whole electric scene, and am enjoying learning about it. I have a CG Tiger 400 NOS kit that came with a generic motor and gearbox. I've already researched and replaced the motor with an outrunner setup, but would like to find a home for the old powerplant, if it's worth messing with. I have some C/L planes that might be okay with it. I looked for something close on MotoCalc in order to get an idea of what I'll need, but can't find anything close. Can somebody put me on the right track Thanks!

A 10x6 GWS HD on a 6v Speed 400 at 4.09:1, using 3s Lipo, is a good combo for a small parkflyer:
10.8v, 7.3A, 82W, 5700rpm, 410g thrust
10.8v, 7.3A, 82W, 5700rpm, 410g thrust

hi there from Toledo
Here is what you should do with a speed 400 brush motor:
Remove the rear end head/brush holder.
Remove the armature.
Remove the magnets and put them on your refrigerator.
Recycle the rest.
