A birthday party in Brazil.
Last november 7th, (our Independence day) I had the opportunity to visit my friend Augusto Camilotti who organized a small birthday party at his r/c club in Joinville.. It was a beautiful day, full of flights and good company. I already posted this pictures in FB, but guess that many friends here may enjoy watching them.
Getting there (70 miles from my homeplace) took almost 5 hours...how about that for a holiday traffic jam? even so it was worth going there even if we returned the same day. I took with me two old buds of mine (literaly) my modified hotspot and a Senior Kadett in my car. Weather was perfect and everybody had a great time.

the birthday cake couldn´t be any different for a r/c modeller. Also the gaucho-like "parrillada" had a great mod: Instead of gathering ground dust while slowly cooking, the wooden deck keep the meal clean and best of all spreading the meat aroma as well. This is the kind of dinner you enjoy long before you eat it (!)

well, and this is it.. took this few pictures with a android phone cell and they weren´t bad at all. I wanted to share this with you guys, and also thank Augusto for inviting me to this informal jet meeting in wich we had so much fun. Hope to return there as soon as possible. Meanwhile I had another invitation in Argentina in wich I hope be able to post some pics here too, but that is another story.
best regards to all, Enrique

Yes they all look great, (shelter, meat, field, etc..) but this is the secondary thing.
I am lucky because I have a hobby in wich I meet fantastic people with great skills and character. Those facilities would mean nothing without this gents(!)

Juan: I´ll send your birthday wishes to Augusto, and hope to meet you again this place one day of this.
Matt: this is a deep question. What we want in life? Not sure, as people have been debating this for at least 5.000 years, but my guess is that the answer is something like trying to live well and being useful to others.
