8178: I watched that auction and the results indicate more than one soul was hot for that kit. Makes me wish I had several sitting around. Not my gig, but then others don't approve of my spending either. Just glad to see vintage kits/designs stay with us. I'm about to start a Kaos myself. No slams against modern technology. just have a soft spot for kinder, simpler designs.....All I need.

Too much money for a KWIK FLI, but I have an Ultimate Kaos Kit, a Killer Kaos Kit and a built GP Kaos that I have been flying since 1985. That is one design that is timeless. Easy to build, easy to fly and it will still do about anything you ask of it. Yeah, I will stay with the old ones, but not for 529 bucks. You could build one from plans for about a 100 bucks.
