Default New teacher from South America !!

Hi everyone!

My name isJuan David, and I’m from Envigado-Colombia. I absolutely love RC airplanes, and this forum is definitely a great source for anyone who share this passion. I use to visit this forum as a guest, looking for information. Now I’m willingto be an active user, interacting with other users, giving and receiving advice.

I’ve been involved in RC hobbies for little more than 10 years. I started with nitro RC cars, but 5 years ago I met a good friend who had (and still has) an aero-modelling club namedAeroEscalas.Since that, building and flying RC Airplanes became my biggest passion.

I’m currently working forAeroEscalasas teacher for the on-site aero-modelling courses. As I’m the only one who knows English inAeroEscalas’staff, I’m also the translator for our websites and on-line courses, which we’ve calledScale Airplanes. I have several links below in my signature, for anyone who want to browse those websites, they’re really cool.

Well,I’m really happy to be part of this wonderful community.
Best regards from South America,

Juan David Mesa Parra

Welcome Juan!! Great web site!! My hat's off to your web designer. Something I noticed right away were the youngsters in the photos, something I don't see very often. The clubs I belong to are older men that were modelers in there youth. Seeing anyone under 60 is rare at any of my clubs. Building a plane is also rare. Most of my students for building or flying are usually over 60 too.
Anyway, welcome to RCU.

Juan please allow me to be the third to give you a hardy welcome to the forum and certainly agree with Grey Beard and goirish. Your clubs website is superb. I love looking at clubs around the world even when I cannot understand the language, but the english translation on yours is working well.

Welcome and please do not be shy asking or answering questions.
