A Question for Fei Bao Distributors/Owners
I purchased a FeiBao T33 through my local distributor back in the middle of May this year, I have been in contact with him many times and am being constantly assured that the problem with the delay are with the factory and not him.
Has anyone had this sort of experience or similarly long delays with Fei Bao or it's distributors in the various countries, reason I ask is that I am considering legal action to recover my funds?
Thanks
Peter

Well, have you straight forward asked that distributor to refund?
Have you contacted FB directly to get a 2nd opinion as to the claimed delays?
Sounds like you are being yanked around by your short hairs.........

RE: A Question for Fei Bao Distributors/Owners
i had a fb panther on order for 3 months and was told by the uk dealer that it was down to them being very busy, they make models for ripmax,c&c models, derjet and a few others plus all of their own so at least you know that they are still around, when i had mine on order they were making 50 ripmax hunters but that does not mean they can forget about your order so i would contact your dealer and cancel it maybe when they start losing orders they might take more notice of the small orders, i cancelled mine got something else on order

I have a FB T33, F15E twin and Panther. Recently they have been very slow (3 months), and at Jet Power I got an apology from Catherine of FB confirming how busy they currently are. I wish they would just give a more realistic time at the onset. Regarding the T33, I assure you it will be worth the wait. It fly's superb, can be a pig to land but a bit of crow sorts that.

I ordered my feibao l39 from GJC in late January. Didn't arrive to my place until last week in march. Any more than 3 months smells fishy to me.

I placed my order on June 7, 2012 and should (hopefully) receive my kit this week. When I asked about the progress of my kit, I received a response within 24 hrs. It has taken longer than originally stated , but was satisfied with the reasons they gave for the delays.

I received my kit the same day that I posted the above comment. Extremely well packed, in fact I couldn't get it back into the box after I had removed it to inspect it. BTW, I have the 1/5.5 T-45 Goshawk. I will attempt to post some pic's of the assembly.

We're lucky here in the UK to have a super FB Rep - Martyn Little of Ace Jets...responds to any query same day and keeps a good stock of FB consumables. I ordered a new pair of Mirage main legs (he didn't have any in stock then - he does now!) and he sent them less than 3 weeks later. Anything he has in stock comes priority mail next day. Brilliant service...only problem I have is getting hold of him to pay!
Cheers,
Dick

i assume the dealer is in Brisbane. i had similar problems with him and eventually requested monies back which is another lesson learnt. never to deal with him again. deal direct with factory now or reputable dealer. he still says on his site. IN STOCK READY TO SHIP FROM BRISBANE. What a load of rubbish. false advertising.

There are numerous post on RCU about taking so long to get a model.........
Don't any of the Jet companies follow RCU to defend themselves??
I will soon be starting a post on the long wait for my FEJ F-15. In fact I recieved a notice in my mailbox yesterday that my jet is in the postoffice.
I GET IT TODAY......
In the small commuity of the jet world,,, Is there that many model jets being produced daily to have a 3-6 month wait?
Just wondering......

I oredered my Fb through Power Grunt Hobbies in Bendigo Melbourne.
He was upfront on the estimated time it was going to take.
Didn't take any monies at all till it arrived on his door step.
Peter was excellent in keeping me informed on the models progress. Painting, shiping etc.
Even when it arrived, it had some small battle scars from transporting and he was onto it and got it all fixed.
Dont know why FB wont let him sell their models anymore.
FB's loss as far as i'm concerned.
