Several months later...I had to leave on a business trip and also my friend which is working on the Falcon. But I think the result is good! We have started to replace all eletronics and etc inside. By the way, thanks for all of you that posted pictures of the setup. It will be very helpful since is the first Jet I put together!

Have spectacular flights!

Klaus

I have 2 of these falcon 120 jets. One is built with a super tiger 2300 in it with springair retracts and is a VERY FAST plane! The other I am going to set up with electric power. They do have flaps and are retract ready but come with fixed gear. GREAT PLANES FOR THE MONEY!!!

Why??? Half a gallon of nitro fuel would fly you for an hour or more. I'm sure it will fly much better if you keep it light.

But... to answer your question... yes... it should work.

Yep... the 120 is nutz.

It is fully reinforced, all necesary and some extra mods are done to it and its fiberglass all over, and its not my intention to do snaprolls at 200mph.

If you want to stay simple and reliable I would recommend Spring Air 101HD's. Easy to set up with only one air line (air up, spring down), retracts come down if you loose air for some reason, and the retract package comes with everything you need (valves, tank, tubing, gear wires) except wheels and axles.

Spring air have certainly changed since I last used them, they only had wire leg options last time I looked, but the 900F set look just the job for the Falcon/Tornado, well spotted that man.

It was laminating epoxy of some sort, mixed 5:1 by weight.
Sorry but I do not remember the brand, or even the supplier.

Just make a indentation in the wood with a flat object to give it some clearance, or just press down on the flap at the horn position. If you hinge them properly i.e. close to the lower surface as possible then the clearance needed for the black plate and screw heads isnt much.
