Art,

I'm toying with the 1/3 scale Nieuport 24 or some plane that Maj Lufberry flew with the Escadrille.
Also considering making the 1/3 N-28 from BUSA as my 1/4 scale looks puny now.

Any documentation of early nieuports that Luff flew? Keep an eye out please.

Mike, here are 3 different Lufbery planes.
The first one is from Nieuport Fighters by JM Bruce
The next 2 are from Aircraft of the Aces, Nieuport Aces of the Great War

Not only great shots, but terrific flying conditions. Man, if you weren't up in the last gaggle or two, you missed some great air!
That flight by itself was almost worth the trip from Indiana.......thanks again for a great event!

WHAT? ARE YOU HIGH??? Did you forget about the dozen full scale WWI aircraft you had to zig-zag around in the hanger when you needed to take a whizz?
Or maybe the full scale DR1 and the D7 flying formation????.............now THAT was worth the trip! (Also meeting CCQ if we are doing the top 3)

I've been waiting to see this great shot. Man, that D-VIII really sticks out, no wonder the Neuports were scared of it. To ALL TRC, words alone can explain last weekend. All of the blood, sweat, and tears surely paid off 20 fold. Its only got to build from here, maybe the next Joe Nall of WWI. Fantastic facility, food, and fellowship, plus GTM, AMA, and IMAA onsite. WOW!!! Is there life after MAD? Looking forward to next year already. My hats off to everyone!!!!!

Lokks like we are going to get the same weekend next year.
I will be getting togather with the museum next week to hammer out the dates and details.
I will need you guys to get the word out to your fellow WWI nuts.
More full size WWI will be at the museum next year. I am getting the ball rolling early.
I am going to try and see if we might be able to raffel off a ride in one of the 2 seater WWI planes. Its a long shot but it cant hurt to ask.
See ya at OHDP. Not sure if the CCQ will be there but I will try.

This is destined to be the premiere WWI event on the east coast. If you fly WWI...you need to be there!
