The YS cdi comes with a plastic spiral wrap to put on the high tension lead.

I've had the ck valve snap off flush at the cylinder head. According to the parts diagram looks like the nipple is part of the head. Looks like it threads in but doesn't have a part #.

So Ineed a new cylinder head?

On the valve springs, you just compress the the springs and the retainer clips will slide out? Any hints on doing this?

The nipple has the injector tube in it and is a press fit into the head. You can have it sent back to YS and they will repair it.

No special way of removing the retainers. Just compress the spring and remove them. Make sure they are seated properly when you reassemble.

This is the new YS header fitted to my Valiant. Much easier to fit and will solve the problem of the flange screws coming loose. A very good quality product and very neat. Fits the #821 Hatori muffler.
The Header is available in a 10mm and 20mm rise. The YS header weighs 3 grams less than the Hatori header. I will be fitting the 175cdi as soon as i get a chance.

Tried a 21x10 today. Outside temp was 11 celsius, so had pretty good air. 6300 rpm, 25% coolpower, didn't really play with the needle, just got decent smoke, to cold to fool around for me. Anyways I absolutely loved this prop. Pulled verticle forever and downline breaking is really good, you need to be throttling up before you pull out, flying ama masters. I was able to get a more constant speed throughout the pattern as compared to when I was trying the 20.25 x 10. I really liked it. 13+ minutes on 20oz tank.

Yes.

I should add that it was fairly light winds also, around 7-8 kts.

I previously used the 25mm rise Hatori header, so i usd the 20mm rise YS header. Worked out very well.
