RE: guess the car game
Blizzard.
I was unaware they brought it back. Last time I checked, it was discontinued. The original kits fetch a pretty penny.
The fan is used for 4 stroke conversions.
Your turn.
Edit: Yup... it's a rerelease. The original was the DX, the new(er) one is the DF300 They also have a neat little readyset version, which looks pretty cool.

RE: guess the car game
woohoo! i'm smarter than i thought i was!
i'm one of the cheapest rc's on the market. i have several very famous siblings and i'm not exactly a nobody either. my chassis can be dated back to the 80's. despite my age and seeming weak construction, my drivetrain can handle some remarkably powerful brushless systems. i'm not meant for speed and gearing is rather limited. who am i?

rising fighter. if you look up "brushless lunchbox" on youtube, you'll find several running fairly powerful systems without a hitch. your turn diehard.

Ok.
I am cheap, but look pretty cool. Though I'm cheap, I do have a thin aluminum chassis and a metal tranny. Also, I am rear wheel drive, and in thesame catagoriethat avehicle of a very famous company is in.
What am I?
P.S. I'm not brushless.

Yeah, it's the raider. Last time you claimed I didn't give a long enough desription. I thought for sure that this would be enough. Guess I need to be even more desciptive.

RE: guess the car game
at least this time it was more limiting, i only know of 4 1/10 scale 2wd buggies have an aluminum chassis and the other 3 arent exactly cheap, but i dont consider the arrma very cheap either. i'll be back in a few with a clue. rhyme unintended.

RE: guess the car game
got one.
i'm new to the market but my class isnt (well, not exactly). in my class, there have been 1 or 2 others but neither really took off. we are built for racing. i have 2 brothers, a 2wd and a 4wd. my 2wd brother is well liked but my 4wd brother has had some issues. the car i'm built to compete with just so happens to be built by an old rival. who am i?

RE: guess the car game
HPI RS32-01?
Duratrax Vendetta?
AE RC18R?
Leopard A5?
Tamiya Lunchbox?
Trying to think outside of the box. Not sure that all of these have chassis from the '80's, but I do know that they are cheap.
