Ad,
Were at the Holiday Inn Express, Sealy ( I-10 ) 18 miles south of Bomber Field.. Hempstead and Waller are about the same distance.. Waller was full.... There is a Best Western and Super 8 in Sealy as well. Not sure of rates.. Not sre of anything in Monaville, might need a sleeping bag and a pistol'a !!! I'll be there Friday, we're staying till Sunday !!. See ya there.

My first jet meet in a while and I had a great time. Kudos to Bob and Barry for throwing this meet together in such a short time. Looking forward to next year.
I was having so much fun flying the 125% Turbinator and catching up with old friends that I forgot to get my camera out.

few more. hopefully woody will chime in too. he took a lot of flying pics. also, rcji was in attendance and i was told this event will get coverage in the magazine. just to say a few words about the event and bomberfield. this club is known for its historically large warbird events. we have modelors from around the world in attendance for that event in sept. the club has slowly morphed into a club full of jet guys. it is still the largest most active warbird scale club around, almost half our members now fly jets too. this was a mini dry run for us to hold a jet event at this field. the event went off perfect. not one model went in. there was flying all day. heck, the austin guys burned all of their jet fuel. needless to say, this is going to be a texas size event next year. so mark your calender. not to mention, we have 4 confirmed british gentleman from across the pond confirmed that they will be in attendance.

these pics are from our warbird event in september. this is the kind of crowds this club can draw in. we always try to combine our events with a charity too. this year we did a model show for the special needs children from our local school districts and we had models donated to the club. for every model donated, we had a wounded warrior. we taught them how to fly during the week and saturday at noon we stopped to honor them and present them with their models. we also donated a portion of the gate to the local wounded warrior chapter. barry

-The guy flying Byron F16 converted to electric flew awesome
-Blue Angel Flash with smoke

Cant wait until next year. Could someone please loan Buck an airplane?
