*New 12' Sig Rascal Coming*
Guys & Gals,
If your a fan of Sig products and especially the Rascal 110, then your in for a treat. I just spoke with Mike Gretz this morning who is the R&D person for Sig Manufacturing and he tells me that they are in talks with their ARF manufacturer in China for the 12 FOOT Rascal!!. That's a WS of 144". This is no longer a rumor, it is fact. As for a name, weight, colors, engine size, etc. that has not been released yet. What would you name this 12 footer? what color would you liike to see? What kind of changes would you like to see over the Rascal 110. Keep an eye on this thread for more updates.

I'd still love to see this in kit form for those that like to build....With the price of the 110, I can only imagine the price of the 12 footer.....

Transparent orange would look cool. When Mike Gretz was here for our Rascal 110 fly-in he ask me what colors I would like to see on the 110. I told him transparent orange, green, and purple.

I aquired a Blue/white 110 and did a make over almost as you like. Transparent orange and cream, looks great. Painted all other parts with Rustoleum, has a Saito 150GK running on 30% heli fuel, no issues with the paint after 50 flights.

I contacted Becky at Sig yesterday to be on the first list for a 144 inch Rascal. Becky says they are not taking any list and talked like it was not a sure thing the 144 inch Rascal is coming. FWIW.. Brian

Right now SIG is in talks with their ARF manufacturer in China so it is probably still in the development stage. I'm going to order another 110 tomorrow
