Ferox Modellsport
Hello everyone,
Most of you know me as noyb98098 (Len) but I created a new username for this venture. I recently purchased Ferox from the original designer\owner who had decided he needed more time to spend with his family and no longer had the time to run this business and service his customers along the responsiblities of rasing a family. One of the condition of the sell was that the car would still be made with best quality materials from the best CNC shops around, we both agreed that the U.S. was more then up to that challenge. I felt this was a great opprotunity to finally bring a German designed high-end 1:5 scale RC car to North America. Hendrik will continue to stay on as consultant for the car and possibly other projects down the road. I will continue to update you all on the progress of the company along with the status of the new 2WD Ferox, which has the ability to change the position of the motor to run either straight up (like a hpi baja) or flat (like a F1\On-Road car) providing you with a better center of gravity. I have already selected team drivers for Ferox all over the globe but we still havent found one yet for the U.S. so if anyone who is truly commited to doing what is neccsary to compete in U.S. based events (Power Jam, West Coast Nationals, east coast events etc) and that can drive, please let me know We will be looking for 2WD and 4WD specialist.
Sneak pictures of the forthcoming Ferox FX-2WD
Thank you,
Len

RE: Ferox Modellsport
Hey! The cars will be sold from Virginia, and as for the 4WD question.. Yes, the 4WD is already out but was in need of some revised parts. Those parts were: updated outter drives and drive ends, thicker diff cases and redisigned upper control arms for better shock spring clearance. All have been designed and are ready for production. Here is a picture of my Ferox 4WD.
And here is the V2 with all of the upgrades minus the thicker diff cases.
I will have a some used v1's that will be available for sale (which include a new body, and v2 dirve shafts and outter shafts) - people who buy them will be elgible for a discount on the the rest of the V2 parts (which are a direct fit) once they are ready to be sold.

Sweeeeet! I love kits. I'm really liking some of the models coming out today but hate that most are pre-built. Almost bought a 5SC Kit just to build after I purchased the RTR version because I was impatient and wanted it right away.LOL

First run in the dirt - getting it ready for it's first track appearance this weekend and making sure I got loctite to all the places it's needed to go. Forgive the body paint job as it was not my choice and hopefully my newly painted shell from MR Custom painting will be done shortly..
