Sorry goodson the sv43's we have are from germany. The one you mean is rick's sv40 which is same hull as gtx. The german sv43 is a bit faster and handles rough water a little better than the gtx. Dont get me wrong the gtx's are fast and handle good enough for us not to sell them....running mid 50/60mph with single 26-29cc. But the sv43 is definitely our choice of race boat in any condition. Since my sv43 is on workbench (awaiting new powerplant) i have had to use the gtx to keep me on top running mod k30...you will notice it come into view sometimes in video footage grey/red/blk hull...and that baby flies!!![8D]

Oops. Forgot about the MHZ version on the hull. My GTX runs well in all conditions, but I'd like to see more running video of propainters sv43 with the modified running surface, in rough water.

Its not the mhz version either. The mhz version is the outerlimits gtx model which is the same model as the expresscraft gtx. Mine are built in germany by a gentleman name andy which are the scale model to the outerlimits sv43...different model from gtx and sv40 models in real life. Check their site and you will see the difference in the different models. Thay are actually building a newer model sv43 for 2013. Propainter has the 70" sv40 from central rc!

Here's and old thread with pics of the 66" sv43's i have....Post #9
Post #3 has some pics of the real sv43's with both style canopy they make for them.

Thanks buddy! Actually we have had our boats for about 2 yrs. It was the first of the outerlimits sv43 style hull. I have been in contact with mhz about the silverhook hull since late july. Got an email from them on tuesday and they were hoping to have first hulls by next week. Yes I am on the list for one asap!!!! Should be a nice hull.

Hi Mario....Yes i have been talking to mhz often about the hull. My 23' ocke mannerfelt was even mentioned in conversation. Here is a few emails conversations i had with MHZ starting from july 4th and most recent email just a 4 days ago.

Hello Shirley,

I had been told that you guys have a new hull planned later on in the year,a 57" version of the Lucas Oil offshore powerboat v-hull. Would you happen to know anything about the hull? Really like it and would definitely be interested if statement was true

Kind Regards,
Damon S.

Hi Damon,

yes thats true but I do not have any further infos currently.
I can send you photos and datas soonest they are available if you like.

Mit freundlichen Grüßen
Best regards

Yes data and pics would be great when you can get them. I have been a fan of the 48' Silverhook that races in the offshore circuit since day one. I just recently bought a Ocke Mannerfelt B23 to race here in Bermuda,if im correct i think Ocke himself played a part in the design of the 48' Silverhook. The bottom does look very similar to the bat boats especially the 24' and 28' models.

Kind Regards,
Damon

Hi Damon,

the boat will be done after original datas of Silverhook and Ocke Mannerfelt so I guess you will be pleased! :-)

Do you have any video(s) of this boat running wetsleeves?

Haven't decided whether I am going to go with an FE 54" Mystic from Central or one of his new 59" Outerlimits SV with another QD29.

Would love to see your SV43 run.

Thanks, Phil

The SV43 is one of my fav mono hulls. Not many US sellers of these hulls that actually looks like the full scale boat. How much do these cost outside the US?

Hull/hatch only....no rails or transom plate installed, start off at around $700 (epoxy, glass) depending on exchange rate at time of purchase and carbon hull is around $900. Than add shipping from Germany on top of hull price.

Very nice and expensive boat. Is the Rockstar theme vinyl or actual paint? If it's paint, that must have cost a pretty penny to have done.
