At this moment, it needs to have the carbs synched, the new rear tire swapped, the petcock rebuilt, and tags.
3 of the 4 are getting handled tomorrow.

Thanks!!
The carbs were totally rebuilt, and it runs now, just not as well as it could. Everything else seems solid, but Iwon't know until Iget it out on the road. Iexpect a few issues, the bike is over 30 years old. But not bad for $500 total investment.

Definitely can't complain!!
The dude backed out on me, so the carbs will have to wait. Kinda miffed, since I already paid for the job........

This is my newest vehicle. It is a 2007 Pontiac Solstice. I have been buying practical vehicles for over 40 years so I decided it was about time to get something fun.

sold the vette got a little red 1990 MX-5 , I sure do miss the explosive power from the 5.7 litre but I do enjoy spooling up that little 1.6 and getting 30mpg no matter how I drive.

I have a 2004 GMC Yukon rolling on 20" ice wheels gets about 13mpg 4.8 V8 Stock
I have a 2006 Pontiac Grandprix GXP daily driver 5.3 V8 about 21 mpg Stock
I have a 2002 Pontiac Bonnyville winter beater 3800 V6 26mpg Stock
I stopped moddifying 1:1 cars about 15 years ago, figured out buying fast cars works better than making them. Sold my last hot rod 15 years ago cause I got sick of wrenching on greesy old shizz. My last hot rod was a 1969 chevelle convertable, my 06 gp would have smoked it!

What do you mean by that Foxy? GM's Kappa platform was related to Lotus somehow?? (for sure it is not related to the Elise/Exige platform, right? I mean, the Kappa is 800-1000 lbs (depends on the configuration) heavier than an Elise..)
Or maybe GM had Lotus did some tuning on the suspension?

They have a Lotus chassis as you are no doubt aware; Best of British!!

You're right, sorry, I was thinking of its predecessor the Opel Speedster. The turbo version of that car was downright mental. Sorry for confusion.

No worry, was just thinking that it is too big to be a Lotus.. it is a decent car, though!! Too bad that it was killed off when Pontiac went out of business.. [:@]

The vette gets better mileage. The 327 routinely gets between 14 and 16 mpg combined when one doesn't play too hard. The riviera with the 401 averages between 7 and 10 mpg.
