Tamiya Leopard 2A6 DMD T-07 controler
I need some help.
I have a Tactic TTX404 2.4 GHz 4 channel.
I am at the point in the instruction manual # 46 on page 30 where you establish the initial settings.
This is where you turn the radio system then the DMD T-07, push the set button, move the sticks up down right left then hit set.
I do not get any of the flashing lights they describe in each step.
Yes I feel a little stupid but I am stumped.

RE: Tamiya Leopard 2A6 DMD T-07 controler
it is just connected directly to the receiver, tapping its voltage.
IMPACT said that the remote controller (for the beacon light) will be releasing soon

I am not sure what you mean when you say Rx, please explain.
I tried RC-19's suggestion of reversing J2 and J3 in the receiver, no change.
Thank You

Your connectors from the DMD which are plugged into the receiver are backwards. There are tabs on them giving the impression they plug in only one way. They don't. I was tricked too. [:@]
Clip those tabs off and reverse the plugs. All of them.

Do I leave J1,J2,J3,J4 plugged into CH 1,2,3 &4 as the instructions say not switched about as RC-19 did.
Did you also use the Tactic 404.
Thanks

Get out your manuel that came with the radio and read it. You simply must understand how the Transmitter and Receiver works before you can go any further.

I guess you better tell me what exactly you mean by link the receiver to the controler.

Tip: Do not trim your Tamiya plugs, no need!
Hope this makes the simple clearer for you.

RC-19 (Steve):
Thanks I did not know about this. I have been an airplane and armour modler for 45 years but an RC Tank modler for only 1 1/2 years.
Tim our leader from CAN-AM Tank Club set up my transmitter and receiver and I was none the wiser. ( Stupid EH ! )
Thanks again I am know on the road to recovery got sound Fwd., reverse left right and turret, got to work on the rest.
Nov 3 is our next listed battle day come check us out.

Did not mean that in a disrespectful way, but with these new 2.4 G radios we all must understand the relationship between the components.
No more bind plugs and modules. it really is easier this way.

Panther G
I am happy you said read the radio manual, it just did not occur to me since I am new at the RC part of modeling. As I said to others I have forward, reverse etc. and turret.I now have gun elevation but I can not make it shoot yet and I have not got to the lights.
Even though I have forward, reverese and turret traverse they are on the opposite stick in the instructions.
I am pushing on
Thanks for the direction

I have posted this before, as I am building a Leo 2A6, and found this video makes the transmitter operation quite clear for operating lights, and guns etc:
