Default Fiberclassics YAK 11

Hello,

I'm on a scale project of Yak 11 and I try to homebuild retracts?

Do somebody have pictures or drawings about how the stock retracts works on FB YAK. I know that it is a cable which pull on the leg to retract it but I don't know how it lock in the down position

Best regards

Yannick

Hi Yannick,

I have 5 of these models and its probably the best flying model I have owned.
I will get some picks for you to show you how it works. It sounds like you are missing the spring that locks the retracts in the down position.

There are 3 ways to actuate the retracts
- sail winch servo
- air cylinders and cable in the wing
- air cylinder and cable in the fuz

Option two works the best and is very reliable
