If you have a good hobby shop that carries good wood, go the short kit route. I had to replace some wood that wasn't very straight.

I got a P-51 short kit from them, and it wasn't too bad. I really didn't replace anything (I'm not that picky though) but still it did the job, and I'm satisfied.
I don't think I'd hesitate to buy from him again, hes one of the most popular kit cutters out there.

I've used PCK, and will do so in the future.
As stated above, if possible, order the short kit, as some of their sheet wood can be quite hard.

THANKS GREY BEARD
i have a dynaflight chipmunk kit. it looks close to a pepsi chipmunk. anyone have a idea what i would need to change tomod it to look like a pepsi chipmunk.?
for some of the pick i seen it looks like the rudder and rudder fin would need som reshaping/mod. how simular are the 2 planes.
also any good plans out there for a 80 100" wingspan super chipmunk.?
thanks

Do a search here on RCU about PCK before you buy anything!!

I mean nothing nasty about PCK, I have only built one plane cut by him and that was when PCK just started cutting. That also put me off of kit cutters and I decided to just cut my own from then on. When people ask about any company on RCU I would recommend doing a search to see what others have to say about them. Perhaps what I got was just a fluke and he got better with time? Using the search engine is easy and well worth the time and effort to do before you buy. Jason and Tom are happy with what they have gotten. Others may not be that happy?
Always look before you buy.
I have been very happy with the quality of the cutting of all my planes sense I tried PCK, every piece of wood is also checked with the old mark one eyeball before it is ever cut too.

I built the Dyanflite Chipmunk kit some years ago. You are correct about the rudder and fin needing to be changed. The canopy that comes with the kit is wrong for the Pepsi Chipmunk. Also, there are no wheel pants and I think the engine cowling is going to be wrong. Not sure on that one.
