RE: 3rd Pan American Open Championship 2012
Dinner was great, as have been all the meals here. Its been great catching up with friends here over a good meal after a great day of flying. As Tuny said the weather has been really nice and we are getting plenty of flying in. So far I've been lucky enough to fly an Envision, Visa, Wind S and Super Xurama. I think a few more planes are on the list for tomorrow for me, especially if my 14 is still down (fingers crossed for tomorrows fix attempt). Only bad luck is that the 3 Argentina pilots are here, but only 1 plane made it so far. The second one will be here later tonight but the other not until Sunday at 3pm. With enough planes here and pilots that want to make sure everyone flies, they will be able to fly tomorrow. Time for bed...

Today was the best weather here since I've been here. Some early morning overcast and then sunny all day which made for a great day of flying. I think everyone had at least 4 flights today. Here's the planes from today.
This evenings dinner event was very nice and I have to thank my translator Federico for keeping me up on what was being said. The new trophy is a work of art and has the past two individual and team champions already on it and awaiting this years winners.
Last day of practice tomorrow then competition starts on Monday morning (I wish I had a few more).

Hi Tuny,
Any reports re the flying - styles - equipment - etc ??
It helps put the results in a context for us here in the jaws of some north Atlantic autumn/winter weather.
; 8*C 30mph wind.

Here are some of the pictures from the F practice, pretty much a "perfect" day, practice limited to 5min per pilot so all twelve can fly before sunset.
