hey if it were a woman,,,,she would have a beautiful mind and ....character. Night fighters are a different breed of ugly with the exhaust dampers and color schemes. I converted my 335 to a night fighter...so insect like.

Some pics of my David Andersen TA 152 build. Progressing nicely now. Pretty complicated wing. Must be careful to build it straight. Not to mention my kit cutter did a very bad job creating the parts. In the end it will be a very nice plane though. All of the work will be worth it.
1/5th scale, 114" wing. G62 for power. Sliding canopy, operating cowl flaps with thermostat. Scheme will be one of the prototypes with round wing tips. A departure to make it different at the field.

Ughh....cant get pics to load. Will try later

Hello Kwik, effectively, by looking at the follow-up of the constructions of this plan there, the guys take(bring) out them in not less of 17.5kg. For my part, on the castor(roulette) of tail, I used only the verrin sierra GIANT, the mechanism is completely personal with carbon. Earnings(gain) of considerable weight which feels the effects well during the centring. Then, I built light with the reinforcements there or it is necessary and here is the result(profit). I have a friend who just ended there one, 14kg any circle. When in the STUKA, with 5 bombs(sprays) + system stands, 14kg (the lap bomb(spray) weighs 500 grams)

Oh yah! By the way, I just got a cowling and gun blisters for my TA from Dave's buddy over there in MN big birds. The cowl is awesome. Came pre primed. I also plan on creating an opening cannon hatch on one wing to show the detail there. I have a lot of time heading my way so progress should happen quickly now. Not to mention I am motivated! The most important element.

Dave.
The spinner for the ESM Me-109E should work. Check with the distributor of ESM planess there in Australia. You need an E version spinner, not a rounded one like on the F or later versions since your plane represents an Emil variant. I think I have the exact same plane. I bought it off ebay, but have never tried to fly it because the top half of the cowl has a big hole in it(shipping damage). I have no idea what kit it was, but I think it originated in the UK. As such, I dont have a way to get a replacement top half cowl part if the company even exists anymore.

Thanks Kahloq, i will have a look into the ESM spinner.
The guy i bought this from made it from scratch 12 years ago he used a 1/48 plastic model and sized it up and also other reference's.
He did not even have a Lazar cut kit he did the lot himself, but the aircraft is now outdated, he had a ST.32cc in it upside down and if you know large Super Tiger glow engines they are not an easy handling engine and he was plagued with constant dead sticks up till the point it all become to hard and he shelved it until i bought it last week.
He did not put retracts in just fixed undercarriage so i will have to retro fit those and that can be a bit tricky. He also had a central aileron servo and flap servo with a bell crank set up plus 2/56 nyrods for the control rods .
So its all out of date and will need modernising.
I have already placed a 56 DLA in the nose and will be looking at the balance point to see where it all sits.
The elevator halves are joined with music wire with a control rod from inside the fuse.
I will most likely put two servo's with short 4/40 rods to each elevator half but somehow i have to cut through the hardened music wire to separate them at the moment i can just get in there with a hand held hacksaw blade.
Not to much work but this aircraft is a slice from the past and was the bees knees for its day.
I will do all the above but test fly it with the fixed undercarriage as it will be two weeks work to tear into the underside of the wing to install the retracts
Dave.

Oh wow. Sorry to see that. I have a Meister bf109g and it is a good, stable flyer, but it does require full attention on takeoffs.

Have you considered building another one?

Very nice work! I may pick your brain about the operating cowl flaps.
Here is my 152 project.

Helllcat, whos plans are those for your 335? What is the scale? I love the fact that it is a night fighter version. I have one that I converted to a night fighter version. Those antennae suck...always breaking off

om the night fighters for the 335, they are out on the wing tips/leading edge. I have mine made out of the plaastic tubes( the stuff the rail road guys use.) They are flexible and fragile at the same time. I need to be able to make them removeable. These pics are just examples of the antenae

Can you use brass tube in the wing to recieve the appropriate sized music wire, then solder them up out of that. When hauling the beast, you can leave them out, then slide them in at field.
