Default G62 Cunningham Conversion

I have an old G62 that Ralph has converted. I absolutely cannot get fuel to draw from the tank to the carb. As you will probably determine from my questions, I am in no way, shape or form, a carb expert.

Anyay, I understand that the small fuel hole in the carb body is plugged off, there is a line that goes from a crankcase fitting to a fitting that has been added to the carb (pulse line I think). I put all new gaskets in, but cannot get fuel to draw at all.

Open to any suggestions. Might just have to send it back to Ralph. Hoping he still looks at these things.

Dennis, open up the pump side of the carb and put some fuel there. Sometimes the pump side won't work until it gets wet. Prime the engine also to get it running and all should be fine.
One last thing, did you assemble the carb diaphragm and gasket in the right order?? Also the hole that is plugged is not a fuel line but the old pulse line

I already tried getting the diaphram wet and priming the engine. I realize the pulse line is suposed to be plugged, since it's feeding off the crank. Thanks for your input, any idea is better than what I have right now.

Make sure the externa pulse line isn't cracked or plugged, make sure you put the diaphragm on first then the gasket to wards the carb body, clean all passages out with carb cleaner first.

I went back and got it really wet, and shot some starter fluid in the carb. Got it to fire and it pulled the fuel up to the carb and ran. Yeah. Now I just need to get the needles set.

My experience with Zenoahs need to be extremely WET to start in the first place..............IMO
