Help: anyway to remove CA from nylon tailwheel bearing?
I accidentally got a little CA into the nylon tailwheel bearing of a pulse xt 40 when I was gluing the rudder hinges. I should have used vaseline around the hinge to prevent this. I can move the rudder back and forth, but it is still binding in the nylon bearing that holds the tailwheel assembly. I tried adding a few drops of oil to the bearing and this helped a little. Should I try CA debonder?

Yes. You don't have much to loose, and the debonder should not even touch nylon.

Isn't debonder just acetone? That's all I use, I always have acetone in my shop but I have never bought kicker or debonder.

RE: Help: anyway to remove CA from nylon tailwheel bearing?
I tried straight acetone. It helped a lot. The rudder is still not completely smooth, but the servo seems to handle it fine. Once the rudder starts to move there is not much friction.
Thanks for all the advice!
