I'm afraid shipping to the US will be expensive for the tank package.

Not sure yet but I will make a promise that the shipping cost will be the shipping cost. I have corporate rates and I intend on offering those rates to all my customers and the discount between regular shipping is sometimes quite significant. Who knows maybe I split the cost of the Christmas orders....

A metal version with no smoke or IR would interest me. Exactly what does metal version mean though. Does that mean it comes with Metal track and sprockets????
Looks like Heng Long ( Saw the Heng long brand name on the box)has picked up its game with this. No molded on tools, and the tranny cover looks good as well.
These should sell well.

I honestly believe there are only 2 Tank makers in the world, one Tamiya and one Heng Long, you have WSN but they really don't make product anymore do they?
Taigen, Mattoro, Torro, Waltersons and HL Premium all have considerable likenesses between their tanks. You make your own mind up on who you think manufactures them.
VS Tank is made by ?? Forces of Valor are ?? who knows these may be made by one of the above? Nobody really knows how many manufacturers out there.

I would assume the mato metal suspnesion upgrades would fit on this...also will the new Walterson gearboxes fit? I'm definately going to get one...now that we finally have a decent Sherman. Amy idea on how soon these might hit North American shores???

I have no idea what I'm really looking at because I'm not a rivet counter when it comes to these tanks ... all know is I really like what I see & I'm definitely getting an IR version with metal upgrades so my new TK20E-US Clark board has a comfy home!

soon I hope, the Waltersons fits in it and I have stock on them already and I am pretty sure that the Mato VV will fit as well. I will need to get a tank to make sure though.

No problem, with all the people pining over how much they wanted to see more pictures of the real tank, I figured I'd try to at least help out a little in prodding the fires of excitement by dropping some more kindling on them.

Look at that, the detail of the hull, the functional suspension unlike the Mato one, attention to detail - it even has a sprocket cover bolt cover! Its been a GREAT month - first the Tamiya JS-2, then this Sherman. Judging from the excitement however, I think the Heng Long offering hits the mark in popularity and price while offering decent performence!
