Default Dynaflite Chipmunk conversion to Super Chipmunk

Work in progress on a Dynaflite Chipmunk. Converting to a Super Chipmunk. The fuselage is framed up but not sheeted yet. Working on the wing; scaling down the mods on the original full scale, wingspan was reduced by 9". Dihedral changes, control surface mods. The wing is going to be fully sheeted, top and bottom; servos hidden inside wing for flaps and airlerons. Major changes on those surfaces and the tail section as well. fore and aft webbing on spars and the airframe will be finished in cloth and resin, with paint.

What cowling are you using and what are you doing about the correct canopy? Thanks Dave

Hi Dave,

Cowling is a fiberglass custom made from G&L Hobby. He makes wonderful KITS! Just recieved his Super Chippy with F/G fuse and foam core wings & stabs. Very nice work. Spare I purchased with G&L Super Chipmunk I have yet to build. I will wind up fabricating a canopy. I have a new spare one in the bag from Great Planes (discontinued) Super Chipmunk.

Input, opinions and suggestions are welcome.

Thanks,

Sean
