Default crawler torque

how about a 12t titan in a ax10? i have this setup and i don't think it has toque enough or maybe my battery sucks. i just got it in a trade and gonna build a scaler out of it. if it dosen't work out i'll just get a axial 27t...anybody else tried this motor in a crawler setup?

you augment the torque of a motor by gearing it down.
take whatever the stock pinion for the axial motor would be, and use one thats a fair bit smaller.

Thats how guys run the vxl brushless motor (meant for speed) and get it to be good at low speeds, by running extremly low gearing.

Some people to get that low gear, switch to a traxxas 32p spur gear.

hooray it was just a battery problem. i used a 2200 3s sky lipo and the torque issues are gone and it also goes like a *******! gonna be a awesome trail truck or crawler...i used an old beat to crap body and a little wood flatbed which i think looks cool or i could use a brand new chevy body but can't see myself hacking it up..not yet any way. using a rooster esc, this thing rocks...
