Aerotrim Wingbags Futura by Pinnacle Aviation
Hi, I would like to share some photos of the Tomahawk 2.5m Futura for Steve Johnson at Aerotrim Wingbags. The aircraft has been assembled and is due out of the paint shop this week for the final assembly for the being of next week. The aircraft will be powered by a Jetcat P180RX with JR servos and futaba Rx. Powerbox will supply the power from two lipos.
The colours I have used is bright course silver, pearl lime green, light, medium, dark and extra dark gunmetal. The wings, tailplane, name and checker are all paint masking, the strips on the fuse is hand lined using 3mm 3M vinyl lining tape.

Some shots of the wings and tailplane after they had been glossed, I had to move then in to the workshop to harden whilst the fuse was being glossed.

Very nice Phil. That flash at the tail made all the difference. Still can't decide if I like the airframe though. A local guy is building one so I expect to see it live soon.

Fabulous job Phil ...I only wish I lived near you ,would have so many questions ! have been playing with paint for years and seem to be good at getting two types to react when putting on the finished coat .....Andy no doubt will have a nice set of wing bags ,and by the way he made me some recently ,great job ,best qualityI have ever seen ,with a fair price as well !!
