Default P-60E won't start

Just got my P-60 back from JetCat. First start, I hear a hum at the turbine like the starter motor is stalled and a yellow blinking light. After 2 attempts, the yellow and green lights blink and the solenoids click. Do I have a bad starter motor?

Check your turbine wheel. Mine usually freezes up after a run. Part of my pre-flight is to ALWAYS rotate it with my finger. Its usually a soft lock-up. Hope that is it. My p60 runs great and I currently have 50 hours on it and about 275 flights.
Good luck,
Dave

Yes just reach in and flip it through a rotation, turbine wheel or the compressor

Already tried that. Turbine wheel is totally free.

Just hold down the Manual and Ignition buttons on the GSU and see if the starter engages and the engine spins up.  You don't have to try to start it.

No, it won't turn on manual and ignition. You get a low volume whistle amd hum, and clicking on the solenoids.

Solenoids should not click when spinning the engine using theManual & Ignition buttons at the same time. Either the starter motor itself is stuck or something isn't connected right. I don't know, sometimestrying a differentdata cable clears things up.

Moved Turbine only to another aircraft with P-60 install, and did Learn RC; seemed to start normally.

Put turbine back to original non-starting aircraft, changed both data cables, checked all hookups, did learn RC again, same non-start result

Sequence: Kero solenoid clicks followed with a simutaneous "deedle deedle dee" and a blinking yellow & green. Repeats this sequence over & over with a constant tone from the turbine. Have also rechecked the glow plug.

Any more ideas?

Duralite Battery voltage is: 8.30 v @ no load; 7.12 @ .5 amp load; 6.35 @ 1.0 amp load

Is that too low? Looks like it should start @ 7.12 volts?

Did you swap out the ecu? Maybe a setting in the ecu is not what it should be.

Just got it back from JetCat, so, you would think the ECU settings are correct?

I assuming that when you moved the engine to another model and it worked there was already a ecu in that model since you did a learn rc if that is the case I would
just swap the ecu nothing else. And yes just comming back Jetcat you would assume the ecu is ok but it may not be.

Thanks, an ECU swap is a lot of trouble, but I will give that a shot.
