Electric Help Needed
I want to switch from gas to electric in a GTM Hanriot biplane it weighs 16 pounds now with a 30 cc gas engine. Having had little experience with electrics, I need help with motor size, ESC, batteries, etc. I do have 2 Stevens Aero models that I have been flying.
Any ideas would be appreciated.

RE: Electric Help Needed
Well going only by the weight and easy to get setups. A Tacon 160 running 10s ((2) 5s 5300 ipos') spinning an APC 20x8 E prop should do the job nicely. gives a rough guess of 8 minutes of flight time. I have always gotten longer flight times then it predicts.

RE: Electric Help Needed
Sorry about that. I need to go back and edit that post. It is a 20X8 prop!!!! So you should have plenty of power if I can type the correct prop size.
