First RC and want some info...
Firstly hello everyone,
I am brand new to all of this and just got my first (learner) car , the Himoto Spino buggy, I have been playing with it alot but i have begun thinking , is there any upgrades that can be done to a Spino or is it very limited to the stock parts?
Thanks
D

There is MANY upgrades you can do to any hobby grade rc. This is Himoto's list of compatable upgrade parts; http://www.himotoracing.com/part_list.php?category=UP&ref_no=buggy_e017

It also depends on what you actually want to upgrade on it. Aluminum parts are..somewhat available I guess. (Just follow the link above. You have to type the number of the part into the search bar to find out how much it actually is.) I didnt bother trying to figure out shipping because its most likely from china and is a outrageous amount of shipping. Im also not to sure if there is any parts that you can "cross over" to the Himoto.
If you wanted to upgrade to brushless they do have some of the stuff but...its not worth the money. My suggestion would be to try and get a Mini T off of ebay for cheap. They have TONS of upgrades and variations of the same upgrades, large support groups, videos, and How-To's. They also have quite a few of different Brushless setups if your interested.
