Default Bombers

Dear Aviators, we together with RC-Composit company, want to develop a KIT halfspear multiengine bomber with a wingspan of 3.5 moters ( 138 inch) in the U.S. market. We know, that if buy this KIT difficult, and who is willing to assemble multiple aircraft models are very much, so we offer help choose it aircraft prototype, which we produced. Thank you all.
We slightly reduced range to 5 aircraft, is the B-17, B-24, B-25, B-29, B-32

You can help us to make a choice!

Take part in the beginning of the project, which will be held on this forum
According to the results of your votes, we will choose the most popular aircraft and make it a KIT

I would be interested in a 100" A26 (Douglas Invader) that could be flown with electric power.

Your best bet would be to go with the B-17 or B-24. The B-29 is too plain, not lot's of color schemes. The B-32a is virtually unknown and no color schemes. The B-25 is nice, but I think it's easily available in kits already, and it only has two engines, so an engine out is a really big event.

Do you mean kit or ARF? Not interested in them if they would be ARFs.

The Liberator is rarely done and its hard to beat the Wingspan Models B-17, but a 138" w/s B-24 is tiny in todays modeling.

I also use my vote in favor of the B-24 Liberator

Active pilots speak out, it was proposed about 100 "A26 (Douglas Invader), and we accept it.

I am retired from the GM Willow Run Plant where the B-24 Liberator was produced. So my vote is the B-24.

Thank you for your remarks, the survey continues. So far outweigh the scales in favor of the B-24 Liberator.

If the A-26 is an option, I would vote for that. If not, I would vote for the B-24

B-24 Dad flew them in the great war. No one has had a really good kit except Stafford and that one is really small. There are some plans avalible but no kits. Make sure it can be built as a D or J model.

I will be watching for information on the A26. My favorite airplane of all time. Will be interested in cost and quality when it becomes available.

I agree with the B-26 Invader. Not enough of them around. And do the K model from Vietnam.

The aircraft used in Viet Nam was actually used from NKP Thailand. They flew night missions agains the Ho Chi Min trail. All the aircraft flying night time were painted black on the bottom. I got to know this airplane very well as I was an avionics tech on them for a year. I actually got to fly a test hop on one to trouble shoot an interphone problem in flight, what a thrill that was.

The version we had in Thailand was the K model but sometimes refered to as an A (note the wing tips as the K was the only one with this configuration), heavily modified by On Mark Engineering for the was in Southeast Asia. I think it is my favorite airplane ever, followed by the F86.

Be glad to answer anyquestions anyone might have about the aircraft. Just ask.

Hay MaverickRussia,
I've built the B24D years ago and always wanted to build a kit of the PB4Y-2 Privateer. The Privateer was the navy version of the B-24 with a single rudder. Would this be considered as a kit. If so...let me know...for I would be interested in a kit.

The B-29 Superfortress in a big ARF form would be my choice!

I know American bombers are awsome. But, why not model some of Russia's bombers? I mean, you guys have some pretty unique aircraft

Just my thoughts.
