Default IL-2

I bring to your attention the project of construction of the Soviet attack plane IL-2, the most popular aircraft of World War II, which is mass-produced from 1941 to 1945. Scale selected 2.2 meters with full mechanization.

For the project was selected modification of IL-2T.

So start making drawings made model.

Understand the model will be 6 parts, wings, stabilizer, tail for ease of transportation.
After manufacturing the experimental model, the company www.RC-Composit.com will make kit IL-2

Great project Maverick. Like Stalin said “My army needs the Il2 more than they need breadâ€. The RC community needs them too. Dan.

I would love to have a good kit of an Il-2. Here is the world's only airworthy example, and it's only about 50 miles from me. It has an Allison engine and left-hand rotation prop from a P-38, but the rest is as original as possible. It was restored from parts of several wrecks found in Siberia.

That SkyShark kit looks great, but I wonder if a 30cc gas engine could be fitted. Ideally, I would want a 50cc-size kit. Anyone know of one?
