Have just bought a new 14SG transmitter and I hope I'm not regretting selling my 12FG. Before I sold my 12FG I copied all my model memories onto an SD card 2.0 GB, that was 7 models stored on the card. Got my new transmitter, put the card in figured out how to get to the card selection part, selected card and no models showing, nothing! Please don't tell me that stored models are not compatible on this new transmitter, if this is the case I'm going to be highly unimpressed.

The answer posted in the 12FG thread is correct. The 14SG is a more-advanced version of the 8FG. The 12FG has much more programming ability than the 14SG. The 12FG has 8 conditions per model, many more dual rates, and more premade functions. It has much more flexibility than the 12SG. Because the 12FG is much more complex, it cannot take model memories from the 14SG, and the 14SG most certainly cannot accept model memories from the 12FG. The have much different file formats.

Oh well after 38 years of Futaba thats me over to JR or Spektrum, Futaba have lost the plot! Utterly ridiculous that you can't move models from a 12FG to a new transmitter.
