throttle stick issue
Hey guys,
My trusty A9 has just had its first noticeable problem, being the throttle stick at about 75% starts to bounce between 60-80% but only at a specific point.
I have never noticed an issue as I typically fly planes but now coming to helis this is significantly noticeable eg hovering then without stick change it blasts up and then rushes down and all over the shop. If you have the notches on the throttle it would be between two notches around 75%.
As a work around I changed throttle curves and pitch curves so hover isn't at 75%.
Tried a blank new model just using pitch/throttle curve screen and its noticeable there too.
The units over a year old now, anyone got any ideas.

RE: throttle stick issue
Go back to an airplane model with no curves etc move the stick while you look at Monitor on your screen and see if you get any throttle channel jumps.

When loading a new model, recommend "Reset" before loading data, this to clear any extraneous data that may
have slipped in or been left over from an old model, see also:
Aurora 9 - Programming Problem? - Parameters must be set in correct ordere.g. V_tail, see chart.

RE: throttle stick issue
Still had same issues on a reset new Arco model.
However found a post how to recalibrate the sticks and sliders. I've done that and now seems to be fine. It was easy and fixed also one of my sliders which neutral point was out
Ill let you know if I end up sending it off for repairs but at this stage all sorted. Really don't want to be without my A9 for a few weeks....
It’s extremely easy to calibrate this radio. First, with the radio off hold down all three digital adjustment switches (LT,CT,RT) while powering on. When this is done properly, the Aurora9 logo fades to an outline and then the factory calibration screen appears with its various options. You’ll see an option for stick / gimbal calibration. Once in, press the CLR (clear) button. Now work J1-J4 through they’re complete range of motion. I do forwards and backwards circles for the sticks 3 times each to make sure they’ve been moved through their complete range of motion. Next, cycle the sliders on the sides of the radio several times each, top to bottom.
Now, center ALL sticks and sliders. Make sure they are all EXACTLY in their physical center point. Press the NEU (neutral) button to save the neutral position, hit save and exit out of the menu.
Easy as pie.
