Well the weather held off, lots of flying done. though for me just a social day out, just couldn't be bothered to get my model out, old age and the cold lol, anyway really enjoyable day took a few pics will upload later, but Dick think you need to vet those attending a little better, anyone else see that fella doing some sort of strange what I can only describe as personal ritual [X(]
think he then realised he was being watched and was not happy [>:]
Once again great effort by Dick and the crew that make this a great event.
Many thanks

I got back home just after 2200 last night after a successful day, test flew a mates Elan and would have test flown an MBA Tornado if the owner had not left his transmitter at home! once again we were lucky with the weather and i was finally able to test fly my Hunter.
Dizz took some good pictures despite the dark conditions, there was a couple of nice Mig-29's flying about and the Jetrebel was giving his Bobcat a hard time! wish i had brought mine along but did not think we would get much chance to fly as the forecast was so bad! I quite like the look of the new Ripmax Excalibur and Pat Barnes was certainly wanging his F22 around! The debrief in the Black horse afterwards is always one of the Classic jets highlights and finished of the day qute nicely!
2013 jet season kicks ff in March so not that long to wait!

Few ground shots I managed to get yesterday...including Birdy and his Bandit, nice Alpha Jet, Ian George's Mig 29, nice Cougar, another Mig 29 in good scheme (sorry, don't know who owns it) and Mark Hinton with his Viperjet...good to see you and Anita mate!
HNY all.
Cheers,
Dick
PS...Gregg Voak's going back to Oz soon, we'll miss him at CJ...cheers Gregg, it's been a pleasure knowing you! Bon Voyage n all mate (Aldridge will miss the colonial banter!)

Thanks to Dick and the crew for another great day, really enjoying it second time round
Can't wait for better weather and the Jet meets to kick in fully plus having a few additions to the hanger (of cause!).
Cheers

Cougar's are both DerJet. Mine is the red and Little Stevie the Grey. Both JetCat powered, DSX-12 radio, air-brakes, arrestor hook, PB smoke systems, these have wing and fuse flaps (4 total) and ailerons.

I must have missed the thread as it started at about the same time as I abandoned hi-power EDF because of battery attrition and moved over to Wren 44 Gold. The Stumax-powered Hawk in the youtube vid was mine, before it had a 44 Gold transplant.
CGRC's A-10 is clearly a superb kit and I'd love one, but I already have a twin 44 Gold project I'm hoping to begin work on in the coming year.
Best regards, and I hope to see your A-10 at the next CJ.

Just to say a big thank you to Dick and his team, a lot of work goes on to make this a big success both on the day, and behind the scenes.
A good time to wish everyone in our sport, both at home and overseas, all the very best for 2013
A few photographs of the day:-
