Oh yeah, love it. Did anybody else catch the CL-215's episodes on Ice Pilots that were sold to the Greek government? One of their pilots did a runway landing wheels up, then took off.
Note to self, if it takes full power to taxi, check for gear down.

RE: Water Bomber Video
Interesting airplane, the CL-215, and unusual in two ways: (1) It's the first airplane ever designed from scratch to be a water bomber, and (2) It was designed around an engine that went out of production two years before the airplane went on the market.
The original version used the P&W R-2800 to take advantage of the loads of brand-new R-2800s available on the war surplus market. The engine mounts were designed to be easily convertible to turboprops when the R-2800s ran out, and many operators have made the conversion. When Canadair was ready to shift to turbo production, it also upgraded the airframe to the CL-415 version that holds more water and has better flight controls.

Depends on what you call "close". They're adjacent, but they've gone to war with each other four times since Greece became an independent country in 1821. And that's just the shooting wars...
but Turkey is pretty close to Greece.
