the old pumps need long feulline
new pumps dont need this
Regards,
Martin.
Martin,

even on the new pump types you can measure the pulsating flow especially near idle. As per direct contact with JetCat it's still advised to install the long fuel line to smooth out this pulsation to be on the safe side.

Cheers,
Ralf

Shouldn't the fuel pump voltage at max be somewhere about 4.5volts not the 3.4volts you are getting?

Pump voltage is showing when flat out at 3.4 volts.
Happy NEW YEAR

PS radio is SEKTRUM 18 channel
Shouldn't the max voltage be 4.5volts, at least thats what I am operating at with my P20.

I Have all the english instruction's and no voltage readings to what it should be,thats why the Q
also no other people have said anything as well as yet

Gents,

don't mix up things. You should be more concerned if the pump voltage would be higher than expected. This would mean that you have an issue on the fuel system like clogged valve, pipe, filter or a bad pump. The reason for this is that the ECU will increase the pump voltoage to reach the demanded rpm.
If the voltage stays lower than expected it means there is no max rpm demand from the ECU. If this happens and your tx settings are still ok, you really should perform the recalibration which I mentioned before. I can't explain why you have to do from time to time but it reactivated a lot of engines with a power / rpm loss issue before.

Cheers,
Ralf

Have not mixed anything up, in the GSU you can restrict or increase the max voltage the demand from the turbine is up to that limit as far as I know, all three of my JetCats have never needed recalibrating in the way you mention, others have, but not the JetCats.

Have not tried it out yet, perhaps this week-end will see it run, will let you know how it goes, I have thrust details from it prior to sending it to you, so will be interesting to see the improvement.

AND I have cal.' after cal., NO diff.,
My ecu is set to max as the instructions say as now I suspect the ECU then.

Moonlight24 we still don't have a max voltage out put at max RPM on the P20X for the pump

Old mate BaldEagel might be right at 4.5 volts

Lets see

That's really strange. Still presuming that your ecu / transmitter calibration is ok and gives 100%
Can you send me a datalog from the last run after calibration and maybe a printout of the settings ? Will have a look and compare with the data of the 2 engines I have.

Cheers,
Ralf
