Default FEJ Tornado

I am close to pulling the trigger on a FEJ Tornado. Does anyone have any feedback, good bad or indifferent. How does if fly? take off and landing characteristics. Any build quality issues that need to be addressed? Thanks in advance Paul.

Paul, no build issues at all with it. It flew great. The only thing is you have to cut the throws WAAAAAY back when the wings are swung back. It gets very sensative. Other than that it's a great looking and flying plane. Take off and landings were a breeze and very predictable. Let me know what I can do to help.
Thanks Fender.

Be great if FEJ made this at a larger scale, what are the chances?

Not likely. It's a pretty big plane as is.

That would be sweet Barry! I'll try to work on it. I would really love a big B1 with the sweep....

One guy in our club has one. Turned out heavy for it's size. It flew OK but could be a bit of a handful in certain circumstances.. If they use the new construction it could be OK as it would be much lighter. One thing to avaoid is transiting the gear in a turn, doesn't like it!
Fantastic looking model though.

John, the new one is much lighter and your right, it will fly better. Never had an issue with the gear. Maybe I was just lucky!!

Come on Ron....the 180 will be perfect!!! Flew my heavy one with a 160. Flew good.
