Well he sent me an email back saying it was soldered but i thought it had to have the capacitors on it like the titan and it will only be 2 wires instead of 4 like the titan.  Idk im going to put it in when i get off in 2 hours and see how it goes.

They may be proline wheels but they have "weld racing" stamped on them. Weld was a wheel manufacture and went under not too long ago. Non the less I like them and hope the work and do well for the summit. The diameter is 1/2" less then the stock canyons but they feel like they make the wight back in the wheel. Does anyone know what the stockers weight?
My stock wheels/tires weigh2.8 lbs,I do not have the beadlocks on them though

Like has been mentioned, you will need a 23mm hex (stock is 17mm)

Can't tell how much mine weigh my scale only does a max of 300g or 10.71 oz and I put one tire on and I get an error so I'm guessing I'm looking at 3.5-4 lbs maybe more

Ok so my dewalt motor came with 2 wires instead of for like the titan and no capacitors on it like the titan. Does any1 know if this is ok or should it have come with the capacitors and will it run fine with 2 wires?

hmmm, I think it should have come ready to go, after all you click the Summit logo on his site so anything he sells behind that Summit logo should drop right in and not need any extra modification. He is charging a fortune for those motors so IMHO getting a dewalt through him should be a very easy straight forward process. If it were me and he wasn't willing to make it right I would be asking for my money back, from what I hear the guy running the show at Kershaw can be a bit of a pain to deal with at times, my advice, don't show him any attitude or give him any reason to ignore you, be nice but at the same time tell him that what you got was not what you were expecting, well that's what I would do anyway.

A member on another forum reported seeing a performance increase when he added a second set of wires to his Dewalt. Iwent ahead and put dual wires on mine from the get go. By doubling your wires you are reducing resistance thus theoretically getting more of your voltage to drop across the motor. Also, if the single wire is restricting your current flow, doubling them will help this too. As far as capacitors go, most folks say you do not need them with the 2.4Ghz radios. They are supposedly there as a courtesy to any AM radio RCers who might be nearby. Iwent ahead and put them on mine as well.

Hope this is helpful

So that's just the way they come? Oh well get to soldering then. I'll keep that in mind so I ever order one I'll just get it with out the wires to save a little money.

If you run a single set of 12g wire to the motor, doubling up the wires coming from the esc, then you will be fine. I just soldered up some 6mm bullets as they are easier to solder two big wires into. Having two sets of wires on the actual motor is not needed, won't hurt, just not needed. I've been running DeWalt motor for a year now. Gets mighty hot with a 19t pinion, but wires are not even warm.

What do you guys think of the traxxas ez peak plus. When I get the summit I plan on havering so high cap lipo at least 7400mah. I guess what I'm asking is will this charger do what I need it to? I read it has a 6a capability but the onyx 235 goes to 8a is that necessary? Will I be wait for a long time for the batts to charge? The ez peak can do two batts at once as well with the adapter

I saw that and I honestly would rather spend a little more for a trusted name and respectable customer service as well as a warranty. What size lipos are you charging with it there Beast and how long do your charge time last just curious I'm prolly getting this one regardless

Just a picture as I don't have any good tool to use for video. Drove it in 5-10cm snow just minutes before the picture

Ive got the stock nimhs and 7600mah 2 cell lipos. If the lipos are completly dead it takes just over an hour a piece at 6a.

Any charger can charge two, or more batteries at once with the proper adapter. But this will divide the charge current between the batteries. I have a charge "station" that includes two Sky Chargers, each with a 10 amp max output. So I could charge two batts on each charger at 5 amps each with an adapter. For those with a vehicle that uses two or more batteries, you want to get the most powerfull charging equipment you can afford. Nothing I hate more than waiting for batteries to charge. when I go to the gas station to fill up my GMC I don't want to be waiting an hour! Same goes for my Summit, lol. I also do have an Onyx 245 with the dual outputs. That charger is a very nice one as well, but has a max output of only 5 amps per side. All together I have 30 amps of charging power I can use at any given time.
I really have been pleased with my Sky chargers, and they are very reasonably priced. Unlike many of the "top name" brands.

Got cables??? I will charge ANY battery, regardless of race, creed, religion..................................

It splits the current? That's lame. I also read with the ez peak the adapter to charge two batts at once will only do so with traxxas power cell packs. Is this true?  So would the onyx 245 system be a better bang for my buck as it doesn't need an adapter and will charge two batts at a total of 5a a piece yeah it's a little slower then the traxxas but an over all time for two lipos will be faster I'd imagine.

The 245 is the way to go for the Summit, or anything that runs two batts. If you can swing it, get the 245. Dont need a separate PS either. Which is a big plus.
