RE: Traxxas Summit
Well he sent me an email back saying it was soldered but i thought it had to have the capacitors on it like the titan and it will only be 2 wires instead of 4 like the titan. Idk im going to put it in when i get off in 2 hours and see how it goes.

They may be proline wheels but they have "weld racing" stamped on them. Weld was a wheel manufacture and went under not too long ago. Non the less I like them and hope the work and do well for the summit. The diameter is 1/2" less then the stock canyons but they feel like they make the wight back in the wheel. Does anyone know what the stockers weight?

Like has been mentioned, you will need a 23mm hex (stock is 17mm)

Ok so my dewalt motor came with 2 wires instead of for like the titan and no capacitors on it like the titan. Does any1 know if this is ok or should it have come with the capacitors and will it run fine with 2 wires?

So that's just the way they come? Oh well get to soldering then. I'll keep that in mind so I ever order one I'll just get it with out the wires to save a little money.

RE: Traxxas Summit
If you run a single set of 12g wire to the motor, doubling up the wires coming from the esc, then you will be fine. I just soldered up some 6mm bullets as they are easier to solder two big wires into. Having two sets of wires on the actual motor is not needed, won't hurt, just not needed. I've been running DeWalt motor for a year now. Gets mighty hot with a 19t pinion, but wires are not even warm.

RE: Traxxas Summit
What do you guys think of the traxxas ez peak plus. When I get the summit I plan on havering so high cap lipo at least 7400mah. I guess what I'm asking is will this charger do what I need it to? I read it has a 6a capability but the onyx 235 goes to 8a is that necessary? Will I be wait for a long time for the batts to charge? The ez peak can do two batts at once as well with the adapter

I saw that and I honestly would rather spend a little more for a trusted name and respectable customer service as well as a warranty. What size lipos are you charging with it there Beast and how long do your charge time last just curious I'm prolly getting this one regardless

Just a picture as I don't have any good tool to use for video. Drove it in 5-10cm snow just minutes before the picture

I really have been pleased with my Sky chargers, and they are very reasonably priced. Unlike many of the "top name" brands.
Got cables??? I will charge ANY battery, regardless of race, creed, religion..................................

RE: Traxxas Summit
It splits the current? That's lame. I also read with the ez peak the adapter to charge two batts at once will only do so with traxxas power cell packs. Is this true? So would the onyx 245 system be a better bang for my buck as it doesn't need an adapter and will charge two batts at a total of 5a a piece yeah it's a little slower then the traxxas but an over all time for two lipos will be faster I'd imagine.

RE: Traxxas Summit
The 245 is the way to go for the Summit, or anything that runs two batts. If you can swing it, get the 245. Dont need a separate PS either. Which is a big plus.
