Default Help with Pinion pitch!

Been out of the hobby for a while and picked up an exceed 1/10th truggy with a fuse brushless set up and losi esc. Also came with the two 4000mah 2s lipos and a poly charger al for $130 shipped!

Anyways I need to replace the pinion on it and I am not sure what pitch to buy?

This is the one im looking at..

G-made 81418 32 Pitch 3mm Hardened Steel Pinion Gear, 18T

Thanks,
Andrew

If its the same as one of the redcat brushless models I can show you what pinion you probly need.
also, is the spur gear metal?

Spur gear is metal! The motor was aligned weird when i got it so it striped the hell out of the pinion gear haha

ah, same as the redcat vortex ep.
I dont know the exceed part #, but you may be able to find it on nitrorcx.com
The redcat part # is 11189

that truck is pretty clean. either they didnt run it long with the brushless, or they were gentle with it.
