WACO YMF-5 (M1:3) composit
Hello,
I started this project about a month ago. The desire to make this model entirely from composite material was a long time ago. The main problem was to get the weight about 16 kg model. I do a lot of experimenting with the technology and materials. Now I'm sure it's possible. ...

RE: WACO YMF-5 (M1:3) composit
Hello,
Thank you for your interest in my work. I'll try to make a copy of the aircraft numbered 14081. I have lots of photos and drawings. Model in scale 1: 3.
In my plans to make a model entirely from composite material. I'll have to make 24 negative forms for this. Next, I will make this plane "sandwich" technology. The material will be using the material HEREX.
I am pleased to be writing about their work. There is absolutely no secrets! If there are questions, Toya will answer them ...
Today I received the first finished parts. I was happy ...

Today I was working with a model. I want to echo the design of the real aircraft. It is clear, for which I did the first small form?

Happy new year to all!
A few pictures for you. the basic shape of the fuselage is nearly complete. Tomorrow I'll start doing model chassis.

What kind of wax are you using to pop finished parts from mold! Very impressive work where do you get the pink blocks of molding foam, is the white finish gelcoat? Thanks [email protected]

Hello,
I finished with mounting chassis. Of course this is a preliminary stage of the work. Later, I'll do all the rest of the work to make it like the original aircraft.
That's how it happened ...
