Great pics. But it doesn't really show how you are able to secure the wing. I want to do this with mine.
Thanks.

Measure and mark each aluminum wing tube to extend about two inches from the center wing section, on each side. Cut at the mark, straight and evenly, creating two pieces, an inner and outer for both left and right wings, mark them accordingly. You will need two pieces of PVC from the local hardware store. Do not use the thin walled PVC, rather use the 250psi rated stuff. Its thicker walled and much more rigid. If the PVC won't slide into the aluminum wing tube then sand it a little, enough for a snug fit. I did this by using a one inch dowel rod for a hub and a belt sander so the PVC could roll on the dowel keeping the PVC spinning and sanding down evenly against the belt. Do this gradually. The PVC should be cut long enough to extent about six inches into the aluminum and six inches out, 12 inches long. The PVC will be 30 minute epoxied into the outer wing tube. Once fully cured, 30 min epoxy the four aluminum wing tubes into place and allow to cure. I installed anti rotation pins as well at the wind root. Slide the wigs together and locate a spot on top of each outer wing to place the wing bolts. I used 6-32 cap screws. Once you locate where the bolts go in epoxy a piece of plywood into the gap between the wing skin and the fiberglass wing tube. This will reinforce the area that the wing bolts will be placed. Slide the wings together then drill and tap the bots holes. Thats it, you now have a 3 piece wing! Happy flying : ) Send a message if you have any questions.

Dear Tom.
How much nose weight did you use in your tigercat and also how did you fix it in to the nose.
Regards Ray.

Have you flown the plane since you changed the wing spar?

It's actually two tubes if PVC one fits inside the other and I did get six flights before engine failure in left side and the death spiral but it flew extremely well and very easy to land
