Let us know if you start a build thread on the kit as I have a kit, and if I don't sell it, I may decide to build it, and may follow along in the thread.

RE: Don Anderson GP Super Aeromaster build from plans
I would recommend using the ailerons on top and lower wings. The servos I have chosen for my application are the Hitec HS-225BB
([link]http://www.servocity.com/html/hs-225bb_mighty_mini.html[/link]) One for each Aileron, although they may well work as good if you put
them in the lower wing and use a tie rod to the top wing aileron. The pull-pull for the rudder is next in the construction phase
after I finnish the wings, I'll detail the work for this build as it'll be a tight fit for sure, but well worth it. I also hope to enter this
plane in the Top Flight Monocote Cover Contest; as I have drawn out cover scheme to apply to this airplane.

More photos
Note from Moderator-
The size of the photos you posted are so huge that the loading times are just way over the top. As a result they have been deleted for the moment.
Please use a photo editor program to resize then down to around 100K or less and repost them. Even Paint will work for that if you open the pictures in Paint and then use the Stretch/Skew tool and enter about 30 to 40% in the vertical and horizontal stretch boxes. The original sizes were 1.5M and that's just too cruel to folks with dial up services and no picnic even for those of us with high speed services. Once you get the sizes down to a managable file size feel free to edit this post out and resubmit the smaller versions using the "Upload More Files?" tool at the bottom of the editor window.
Thanks
Bruce

Here is a few pics of my build. I added some triangle stock to the vert stab for strength. And I am going to build wing C for the top and bottom. Just getting started on the top wing.

RE: Don Anderson GP Super Aeromaster build from plans
Ok. At this time the major construction is done and I'm finished sanding the plane. Time to cover this thing, I’ve always
used Top Flight Monokote since the mid 80's and have enjoyed great looking airplanes. I prep the plane by sanding down
and shaping with 80 grit, then sand with 120 and wipe with a damp paper towel before filling any low spots with filler. Then
over again with 150 and more filler, after that its 180 and any filler needed to get small dings out, final sanding is done
with 320 hand sanding and a final wipe down with some paper towels dampened with glass cleaner. This results in a smooth
finish ready for covering...

And so I've started covering my Aeromaster. These pictures show how far I progressed with the one roll of white
I had in my box of monocote. I'll go to the hobby shop and pick up some more tomorrow and continue in the next
couple of days. So Far so good...

Here are the updates to this biplane covering, I hope to do some more work with this soon. I am attempting to follow an
airshow performer theme with this plane. As to my choice of an open cockpit or cloosed cockpit, I havent decided this yet.
After 4 attempts to upload pictures as befor the system will only display in thie format below, I cannot get my photos to
any smaller(average of 160kb per photo).

Great thread, and a beautiful job on the Aeromaster, you are a master builder. Makes me wish I never would have sold my Andrews Aeromaster kit a few years ago.[]

Yes, a job well done. You can be proud of this one ! Now help me decide if I should sell the N.I.B. GP Super Aeromaster kit or should I build it for a winter project ?

Well This is official, she's completed!
As soon as I have some extra time and it cools off, I plan to fly this thing.
P.S.
sneak peak at my new project...

I realize that this thread has not been active for a few years, but I have just started building a Super Aeromaster from plans, and I have not been able to find a source for a canopy. I would appreciate any advice anyone can provide.
Thanks,
Jim

RE: Don Anderson GP Super Aeromaster build from plans
Plans built Super Aeromaster's fly better than the kit built version due to the notoriously heavy wood in the kits. Select some good light wood to get a great flyin bird.
