Default AEROTECH 4 7/8" INCH P51 TIRES NEEDED

Anyone have a link to AEROTECH's website? Need to order some tires and can't seem to find it..

I need a set of their 4 7/8" tires for their scale rims..

If you have a set I'll buy em.

Thanks gents

Magic? Leftover stock? I tried to order a kit about 18 months ago and were told by several that they no longer offered any.

Kits weren't available but parts were.. I looked and I couldn't find them either. If you can get ahold of Wayne Seiwert you might ask him. He was the owner.

As noted by BobH above Aerotech was still selling detail parts and other accessories up until just a few months ago. Their kits have not been available for a long time now. Much of the stuff they were offering can be had from Scale Specialties (where it originated from in the first place) but I don't think that includes wheels.

Also try the mnbigbirds website, and Equinox RC on the same website.

Good luck

Not out of my mind. Here is a link to the parts that are needed but no phone number..

I checked my "toy" account from last June and found a payment for the last set of tires I purchased from them...

See P51 wheels and tires... 4 7/8" tires are all I need...

Aerotech is indeed closed. As Chad said above, http://www.scalespecialties.com/ is where you can find a few items that they sold. Mostly detail parts though.Casey

I am not sure exactly what this is that afterburner1 posted. Is this the new owners selling merchandise or a search engine?

They indeed are closed.. I called the aerotech scale parts number last night and they said they were done last July. Must be an old link I posted.. I put it up there to show the parts I was looking for.

So now that we all know that they have shut the doors and the tires are no longer available..

Does anyone have a set they would like to part with?

Thanks

I heard sierra wheels are very similar if not the same as aerotech's. Does anyone know if this is true? I am in the same boat looking for some good wheels

As mentioned above...give EquinoxRC a shot....those wheels look just like the Aerotech ones. It would be the first place I look since I have a set of the Aerotech 4 7/8 wheels myself.[8D]

As of 2008 Aerotech was sold to a person in Texas for his own use, He apparently perchased the company for his own use & does not apparently plan to manufacture the planes but for himself. The scale parts were still being sold up until last December when they formally closed shop. I have three of Aerotechs P-51 Mustangs myself.

Thanks:

suggest taking a look at the tyres robart have, think they would be very close. If not buy a whole new set of robart or sierra wheels in that size.
