Default Another big jato crash

This time i took out the right rear suspension arm, the battery box cover and the battery holder. I heard somwhere that people move the triple a battery pack forward in the car. If anyone can give me a heads up on that thanks in advance.

You can use a 5 cell flat pack that fits in the center battery compartment which is right next to the filter. You can then remove your battery box rear and cover and just use that, but you have to buy the battery and a charger for it if you don't have one. SPecial plug. post pics of your wreck damage. I managed to run mine over the weekend without breaking it, very rare.

Yeah very rare that mine breaks also. J use the 5 cell battery in the center location. It also works great on eliminating the wheelies.

No loss of wheelie bar. Put on the rear bumper instead of the box, it comes in the pack with the wheelie bar. The wheelie bar will attach to it. You probably won't wheelie much when you move the battery. It centers out the weight.

I repaired it. Bought the lighter chassis, a donor car, and went to town. I will link the build thread when I find it.

You guys would laugh your a55 off at me. Iran my Jato into a fence post at 50mph this weekend. Icrumbled the upper and lower bulkhead, the top plate is toast, I broke both steering and throttle servos, front bumper bent to hell, and steering bell crank assembly is toast. My a-arms survived but my shocks broke off at the ball ends. This was a stupid foolish error in judgement. Iam done driving this bad boy fast unless its a dead straight away.

I almost with you on that. If I destroy it again like Idid this last time Iam gonna stab myself to remind me to slow down. I told my kid to punch me in the face next time he sees me driving it fast. I am out 130 bucks, waiting on two orders for the replacement parts. Based on what I have broken and replaced now on both of the Jato's I could have purchased a third. I have the shock ends coming from Integy. Ilooked at Tower Hobbies and they have everything discontinued but the shock shaft. Ifind it hard to believe that Integy has discontinued their piggyback msr6 shocks for the Jato. If thats the case, distributors need to stop selling the shocks or note that parts are not available. 60 bucks for a set of shocks you cant fix if a piece breaks is a bad idea creating angry customers. Igot the rest of the parts from RCSuperstore, Connie and the crew over there are great. The worst part is waiting for the pieces. Mild winter days go by, days Icould be playing with my car and I cant because it sits in pieces on the table. Damn you Jato and your addictive speeds, damn you!

Nice. That top plate is one of the weakest points on a Jato, especially when you run head on into something or somersault. I haven't run mine since I did my rebuild of the transmission with steel gearing. Gonna hold off til spring when temps are nice and I find a nice long flat stretch of pavement.
